Payment options: How can I pay?
At Ernst Klett Sprachen we offer you various payment options to make your purchase as convenient as possible. For customers of klett-international.com we generally accept the following payment methods:
- Credit card: We accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards. Please enter your credit card details when placing your order.
- PayPal: If you have a PayPal account, you can also use it to pay for your order. Simply select the appropriate option during the order process.
Note: We almost exclusively display Euro prices. If you would like to know the euro price in your local currency, please convert it yourself. Please note that we may have a local bookseller for you who may have other payment options. You can find your local contact (e.g. bookshop, sales partner) here: My Region
Shipping costs: What are the shipping costs?
All prices are inclusive of VAT and exclusive of shipping costs.
The shipping costs for orders in the webshop are usually shown before the order process is completed and before the purchase contract is concluded*.
The shipping costs for international deliveries vary depending on the destination country and the weight of the consignment. The shipping costs are calculated based on the following criteria:
- Europe (except D, CH, AT): 8,- EUR (weight under 4 kg) | 14,- EUR (weight over 4 kg)
- Non-European countries: 13.50 EUR (weight under 4 kg) | 19.50 EUR (weight over 4 kg)
*For orders over 20 kg outside Germany, the shipping costs are calculated individually. These are therefore not displayed in the shopping cart and we ask you to place such orders with customer service:

Please note that additional costs such as customs duties or taxes may be incurred, which are to be borne by the recipient and are not included in the shipping costs.
TIP: There are no shipping costs for digital products (without a physical data carrier). Therefore, digital products can be easily purchased worldwide on our website. Titles that are distributed exclusively by our partners abroad are automatically removed from the shopping cart. You can find the contact details of your contacts (booksellers, distribution partners) here: My Region. You can use them to order directly and conveniently in your country.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery times for international orders depend on several factors, including the destination. Orders are ready for despatch in 3-5 working days, subject to availability. The estimated delivery time is 7-21 working days. Please note that due to customs regulations and long shipping routes, the delivery date is not exactly predictable and there may be delays beyond our control, such as customs clearance or transport delays, depending on the destination country.
Ordering process: How can I order?
The ordering process at klett-international.com is simple and user-friendly:
Step 1: Select the products you want and add them to your shopping cart.
Step 2: Check your order in the shopping cart and adjust the quantity if necessary.
Step 3: Go to the checkout.
Step 4: If you are not yet logged in, you must log in now, register again or you have the option of ordering as a guest.
Step 5: Now check your customer details.
Step 6: In the next step you will be shown the delivery and billing address.
Step 7: In the order overview, you can check the details of your order and select your payment method. If you would like to use a promotion code, you can redeem it here.
Step 8: You can now finalise the order process or place a chargeable order.
Your products have been automatically removed from the shopping cart at this point?
There may be various reasons for this:
1. You would like to order a print product AND you live in a country where we have an Exclusive Partner. This means that you can easily order these print products locally. You can find your local bookshop or sales partner here: My Region
2. You would like to order a product that can only be ordered by teachers. In this case, you must be registered as a teacher and confirm this status to us.
3. Your order outside Germany weighs more than 20 kg. In this case, the shipping costs must be calculated individually. Please place this order directly with customer service: contact@klett-sprachen.de
Step 9: Once you have successfully placed your order, you will receive an order confirmation with all the relevant information by e-mail.
